More of a ****** off brag, since it's also put a hold on my debit card, which prevented me from buying groceries after getting off work tonight. I'm not on the verge of starving or anything, but it was incredibly annoying/embarrassing.

$120 charge put a hold on your card?

If you like Oakleys I would get a part time job at Scheels or another sporting goods store. The employee programs that Oakley, Asics, Saucony, Rawlings, Mizuno, Easton, etc offer are totally worth it. Usually can get their products for 10-20% off below cost so TM's sunglasses probably would have cost around $45.

This, though the time may not be worth it to save $45. In my industry (outdoor recreation), "pro deals" are clutch and awesome. I can buy just about anything I need for work or play at 30% to 60% off MSRP from any brand that has a contract with my company.

My buddy did this to get running shoes at a footlocker. He worked like every other Saturday or something. But he was one of those once every few week new shoes kind of runners.

Better yet, find a friend that works for (or is) an eye doctor. The one I know gets them for me at 50% off. Although, she's a woman so maybe she has a special 'deal' with the Oakley rep:)

Why buy them when you can just get your insurance to cover the bill?

How do people lose sunglasses so frequently? Is the biggest reason leaving them on a restaurant table?

I have never been able to figure out what is so great about oakley's that people will spend so much on them.

Have you ever had a pair. I have a large head so maybe it's different for me but Oakleys are the only sunglasses I have worn that I forget I'm wearing. The comfort is great, at least for me.

Nothing like a nice pair of Daisy Dukes on a hot summer day. Besides, what else am I supposed to do with my worn out jeans?

I'm getting a high ride but the shorts aren't preventing me from doing what I need to do.
