Freedom. Work when I want and no questions asked as long as work gets done. Have had full weeks where I don't go to office. Can do a lot from home. Pension plan and 401k, 1-3 trips a year to Caribbean. Couple golf outings a year. Usually have a vendor once a month that takes us out for a nice meal/drinks.

Free golf, IPERS, pretty damn good insurance, get to work outside. Gave up a shot at making a little more money yrs ago to do what I enjoy and love it.

They match my 6% 401k deferral with an additional 10-12% depending on their profit margin.
I can expense my cell phone plan, including my wifes.

We have a TON of perks at our job which is nice but it also comes with lower salaries then similar positions in other companies/industries. Our biggest perk is probably free hotel rooms (up to 24 a year) at really nice hotels and resorts around the world ($200-$800 per night). It makes traveling and vacations really affordable and nice knowing you have luxury places to stay for free wherever you go. Also get 55% off everything we spend on properties.

Also have a lot of what others are saying. 6% 401k match, free pop/food at work, flexible schedules, can work from home whenever need be, lots of discounts on other travel industries (car, airline, etc).

Nothing really glamorous here. Just a standard 4% 401k match. And a little 'bonus' for not taking health insurance through the company (on my wife's which is being blown up by ACA but that's a topic for the cave). Free coffee. That's a perk right?

I suppose there can be more if you negotiate it into your contract. Big push for me next contract time will be for a company car since work is moving 40 miles up the road.

I'm a self employed carpenter, so I'm able to go to work whenever I want, take a day off when I need to and have no one that I have to directly answer to. I love what I do so it's a great living. The couple downfalls though is no paid vacations, paid time off and no 401k that is usually provided by companies.

Full health coverage, while single as well as full family. 2 full weeks at Christmas this year. So that will be nice.

First, I love what I do.

But a couple nice perks are;

1. No hawk co-workers.
2. I've never had a boss that wasn't a Cyclone.

Five figure bonuses on top of a good salary, if my jobs make enough money. Bosses that leave me alone -- I trained two of them at a previous employer. Family atmosphere at work.

I need to start looking!

I work at a place whose main clientele is 60+.

Old school all the way around. A little more than 2 weeks vacay, small bonus (last year was about 1%), a 50% match up to 6% on 401k.

I am not complaining at all, but I think our company needs to do a lot more to appeal to the younger crowd or it will go with the clientele in the not so distant future. I also am a firm believer that it starts with your employees.

It's a family owned company, so it has an added dynamic of a father/son too.

No weekends, holidays, off when the weather is bad, 7:30-3:30 190 days a year. Teaching can have many downfalls but the hours are good, the pay ain't bad, and the summer off are awesome.

Decent salary, but job bonuses that allow me to more than double that in good years. Good insurance plans, 401k match (up to 5%), 14/7 schedule which is both terrible and awesome at the same time, stable company, 2 weeks vacation with an optional flex week available for purchase, company truck, work laptop, work iPhone, and opportunities to move up.

Cons include 12 hour shifts, sometimes we are up >24 hours, a lot of times I'm away from home for 14 days straight, some physical labor, hazardous work sites, and corporate BS.

Crazy good work/life balance. Solid retirement plan. Affordable benefits.

My workload is very cyclical so I am either really busy or really bored. The boring times are awesome because I sit on CF, the Chive and Youtube all day.

Man I would love to not take work home, seems like it's been every weekend lately.
