He swung his elbows so hard the wind knocked him over!
So it turns out the Cyclone Alley Committee is still pretty bitter about this. I noticed that the CBE Classic retweeted a post of Cyclone Alley's for the chance to win free tickets to the tournament. Doing so simply by following CA and retweeting the tweet. So I made my way to Cyclone Alley's page, and found it odd that I wasn't already following them.
I hit the follow button and it says "You have been blocked from following this account at the request of the user."
Obviously, creativity (and showing them up) is frowned upon. So awesome job Cyclone Alley. You guys are doing a fantastic job of improving the gameday experience..
Back story please? Yes, I know about the flop the students pulled off..but what with CA and twitter?
I should have been a CAC member. Show up an hour and a half before the game, pass out some free crap when the doors open, and go down to my seat in row 1 just a few minutes before the game. What a pointless and worthless organization.
BTW, I hope someone finally trips flag guy this year.
I organized the student section flop. I reached out to them multiple times for some assistance leading up to the game, but was turned down. CA had nothing to do with it because it was "targeting a player, and as a university affiliated organization, we can't be involved with things of that nature".
I've been blocked by their account (and in this case can not be a part of the entry for free tickets to the CBE), I imagine because they're either bitter or do not want to be affiliated with someone who is actually coming up with popular, successful ideas. I can't imagine they were ordered to block me because I was "targeting a player". That would be silly.
Do you have any ideas planned for this year? Obviously there is a willingness and ability of the students to execute some cool antics outside of CAC.
