God forbid we have an exciting, flashy (and most importantly) winning product to put in front of fans and the nation and draw the attention of top recruits.

You know, because that would be just awful.

Yes! NO MORE FANS!!! We don't need anymore fans!!!

Has anyone mentioned Big Tsalm getting stuffed by the rim? It was awesome, and to be fair a pretty aggressive come-from-under-the-rim-and-dunk-on-the-other-side dunk.

I finally got to see it early today on the highlight reel on cyclones.com....

Ehh. Nothing to get worked up over. Personally I thought it was pretty lame. The reverse was much more entertaining, showy, whatever.

Agree with CyHipHopp - once he messes one up, we can get up in arms.

My guess is during film, Fred may have made a remark that may put an end to it anyway.

Niang and Tsalbo. Why not mad at them?

Oh for ****'s sake.....

Were they showboating, or did they simply miss a dunk? Was it a critical point? If they were showboating, then throw them off the ******* team. I don't care.. yes that's what I'm saying. Throw Niang off the team.

(/sarcasm for those too dense to understand)

Go ahead and ignore the part where I actually SPELLED OUT my opinion on the matter "Ehh. Nothing to get worked up over. "

Good God - people just don't get the point, or go out of their way to be a pain in the *** about it.

Damn, did you seriously just post all that drivel? Overreact much?

I'm just trying to show how stupid the people are that are criticizing BDJ for making a basket, but no one is saying anything about a missed dunk. And it's a lot easier to go up to the rim and just put it in, instead of dunking, so technically yes they were "showboating". Different degrees of showboating based on talent level and physical abilities.

None of it bothers me if the ball goes in the hoop, that's all I'm trying to say. Chillax.

Yeah - I did. Did you just respond in same?

I'm just trying to point out people who freak out when someone says something not glowing about a showboat dunk - particularly with they didn't even criticize said dunk at all, then suggest those people don't want a winning team, to impress recruits or whatever inane other thought goes through their head.

Did you seriously just suggest that a dunk is simply showboating because it's "harder" than a layup? For you perhaps.

Sorry - just ticks me off when people want to pick out one minute detail of a thought and run the other way against a person's (obvious) point. People just look for fights. Seems lately is worse with the tensions around football.

If you scroll up I brought up the point for both you and cyhiphop. I wasn't looking to fight or anything, just making a general point that the whiners can't seem to grasp. Get over it man. Also, I'm not even calling either one of you whiners, I'm really just making a general point, not towards anyone specifically.

I was pretty impressed by the move. I know that it didn't work but how he got to the other side of the hoop. I can see why he is here and I can see the potential. Just needs more time and cheeseburgers.

Ruby go to time out in the football forum. You can come back when you have decided to get along with others.

No worries, you're in a safe zone now (basketball forum).

I agree with you. I think the exhibition game showed both the fact that he still needs some work and also how much potential is there. I'm convinced that he can be a contributor this season, even in limited action, until McKat makes it here.
