You seem old, so I presume that you remember how Iowa was dogmeat for a few decades before Hayden Fry, right? Like, laughing stock doormat of the Big Ten dogmeat?

Not that old, but I know IOWA football. Prior to that they also won a National Title, and could have had the possibility to win a second, but Minn. went to the Rose bowl due to the Big 10 rules then.

7-3 and having announcers and such say they should be 9-1,,, Ya, I think I know a hecc of a lot about it. I have watched Hayden build it and Ferentz build it.. Still waiting for lil brother to do anything..

Do I think ISU would be at 7-3 or 6-4 with UI's schedule? No, not at all. However, it is annoying that your idiot fanbase may acknowledge the soft schedule, but act as though it has little or maybe an incremental impact. Please tell me who exactly UI would beat on ISU's schedule. Toledo, KU, NDSU, maybe 2/3 vs. T Tech, Texas and Okie State. Considering those last three are better than anyone Iowa's beaten, I think going 2/3 vs. those teams is going out on a limb. Iowa has played two teams with a pulse. And lost, in one case in an embarrassing fashion. ISU's awful and UI is bad. One of those has played a schedule full of awful teams with a couple of mediocre teams sprinkled in.

And it's time for people to stop talking about the Big 10 being down is if this is a cyclical thing. The Big 10 is bad for real and permanent reasons. The same reason ISU is at a disadvantage in the Big 12 is the same reason the Big 10 is at a disadvantage vs. the rest of CFB. Compared to the South the concentration of D1 teams compared to the talent available in the North is a major disadvantage.

I havent lost an argument yet. You all have never used any facts, stats only your opinions. 7-3 IOWA, 2-7 ISU , 1 winning season out of the last 9 for ISU.. IOWA has had only 4 losing records in the 16 yr era of Ferentz.. IOWA owns a 40 - 22 advantage over lil brother.

It is my opinion that Iowa State beat Iowa by a score of 20-17 this year. That's not a fact.

IOWA would lose to TCU, Baylor, and probably Oklahoma, but wouldnt lose to a FCS school 2 yrs. in a row.

"In 1958, Louisiana State University (LSU), with a record of 10-0-0, was crowned the national champion at the end of the regular season by both major polls and would go on to win the Sugar Bowl."
