I'm on record as wanting CPR out now, but I can realistically see the Cyclones starting 5-0 next season. Wins after that will be tough to come by, but one upset to close out the year and Rhoads will have every opportunity to save his job.

I'll have what you're having. We will probably lose to UNI, they put on a killing to SFA. what makes you think we can beat them?
They lose their current starting QB, running back, and a chunk of receivers and lineman. Not to mention they lose their best defensive lineman and best two linebackers.

So did North Dakota State.
There is no way a team coached by Rhoads could start 5-0. He is not good enough at his job to do that. At best ISU starts at 2-3 with Rhoads and finishes at best 3-9.
So did NDSU. UNI beat NDSU
When you mean?I'm OK giving CPR one more year, but if he loses to UNI, he needs to be fired immediately.

The fact that people are actually pointing to wins over Stephen F Austin as a reason why a certain team will beat ISU is just ******* disgusting.
It happens every year. That's why our stadium is completely packed and full for the 1st few games then the last few games are played with a half empty stadium.Only ISU fans could be staring down a 2-10 season in the face and predict 5-0 to start the next season...Seriously?
Only if we have the most amazing JUCO recruiting class ever, the introduction of Muschamp as DC or Saban as HC, or Sam Richardson turning into Marcus Mariota over the offseason are we going to start 2015 5-0. You have to be completely blind to the product on the field this year to believe that a 5-0 start is anything but a pipedream next year.
Have we proven otherwise that we can beat teams like this?
