I think maybe we don't understand it. If it was satire before the game, then it's an admission of being wrong after the game. If it was sincere before the game why compliment someone you don't agree with?
He'll be a name mentioned for the award all year (as he was in preseason) but not likely to win. Just like about 5-10 othe guys. Big 12 fans and Iowa fans who play us every year never mock Niang the way Ark fans did/do because they know we feed the ball to him late and he beats them, your fans have looked like idiots mocking his game.
It's all good. It's too early in the season to tell what anyone has until they actually play the games. These teams will both be dancing and we will look a little different then when McKay, McCoy, and McKat join the team. And UConn wasn't exactly tearing it up early last year.

I was certainly expecting more from Arkansas. They pressed but not particularly aggressively, they didn't really trap very much and they don't really have any type of solid half court offense. With not being able to force turnovers they looked they they were scrambling a bit on offense. Hopefully Anderson gets it put together and you guys can hang a loss on Kentucky and Mizzou this year.
I saw Arkansas play last week at BWA and they are a better team than they showed last night. If Bell and Qualls had knocked down some shots early, it would have been a different story. Probably still a loss given how we played, but a much closer game.

They shot almost 50% from the field and 36% from 3. In the first half when being blown out they were shooting about 50% from 3.
The problem was they didn't change their strategy until their strategy had already helped ISU shred them.

You have to remember, it is Arkansas. I love my fellow Arkansan's to death, but none of us are particularly bright, and the idiots tend to grossly out weight the smart people. In that way, being smart around here is bad for your health.
