It is just marijuana. Purely a social construct goes along with it. Some old people think what he has done is horrible. The rest of us think what is the big deal.

He wasn't hurting anyone. This arrest is far more tame compared to an OWI. Jok could of hit and killed someone driving while drunk.

Anyway it is just Marijuana. Two states away it is completely legal. Iowa needs to get with the times. We are liberal enough to allow gay marriage., which goes against everything biology and the building blocks of civilizations. Yet a stupid harmless natural plant can destroy peoples lives because of the prison industrial complex.

Can we not turn this into a bunch of idiots shouting "legalize it bro." That's not the issue.

I tend to think that anyone who is warned multiple times about something as stupid as loud music deserves what they get when they get it.

Ok, so they did charge him with Gatherings. Serious Misdemeanor version.

When they charge this, and not Possession of Marijuana, it means they don't even have probable cause that it was his. Just that someone in his place had it.

This should not result in a suspension, and again, I'd feel the same way if it was an Iowa player.

Sorry if I don't feel having a loud stereo is a big deal. At least I don't prance around on my high horse and act like I am the supreme moral person CF.

When you live with people around you if you are playing loud music at 3AM on a Wednesday and won't stop when the cops get called then you're an *******, whether you're an athlete or not. The cops wouldn't have been out there multiple times and working with the coaches to get him to stop if it was some old lady calling them up every time she heard a peep.

If everything as it is being reported is true, then BDJ should be suspended a game just for being a complete dumb-*** and even be made to wear one of those dunce caps at the end of the bench tomorrow night. I just wish he would have waited until before the Southern game on Sunday, not until right before the Iowa game.

I do like the hok trolls on twitter talking about how ISU is a rogue program. Jok got arrested twice and never got suspended.

LOL, sorry, couldn't help myself, but after reading your post, you really shouldn't be using "We" when referring to liberal people.

And let's not forget about Pierre Pierce. Much worse situation than anything ever for both athletic departments.

NO MEANS NO

yep leave it to the shortman complex Ames PD to "a friend at my house was smoking pot" changes to "Hosting a Drug House". All three houses/apartments I lived in college there was smoking going on every week, BDJ isnt a criminal
