Biased? Well, yeah, Im a hawk fan. But I'd like to think Im a level-headed one who can carry on a conversation with a rival fan without getting hostile and nasty. Hell, I even just admitted that I wished Fran would have suspended him for 2-3 games.
Also, got a question for you and ribs- Are ISU fans the only people in the world allowed to talk about ISU bball? Am I here posting because of this news? Absolutely. One of the better players in the country, from our rival school, two nights before the game, gets popped. Its a hot button issue. And for the record, I have been over here before, and I was planning on coming over today to get a feel for how you guys were thinking how the game would go, but this happened.

I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I just don't care if BDJ is a great guy or anything. He's here to win basketball games, he isn't even here for an education though I'm sure he's going to some blow off classes. All I care is that he doesn't do stupid stuff to jeopardize his playing time. Looks like he might have done that but also looks like Ames PD really overreached.
At the end of the day I don't care if he was being a jerk to his neighbor. He hasn't done anything serious so he should play. I'd hope the punishment is no more than missing the start and not coming in until the 10 minute mark. My gut tells me that Fred suspends him for the game, because at ISU we always have to get on a stupid high horse about this crap when no other University does. Jamies Winston still plays with all of his crap, yet we'll suspend (or some even suggest kick off the team) BDJ for being loud. I'm really tired of ISU and ISU fans being holier than thou with this crap.
