Jameel McKay will not have an instant impact for ISU. Limited offensive skills could actually hurt Cyclone spacing. More of a role player.

Will Jameel have an impact on the game?
Well, let’s not forget that JucoRecruiting.com had ranked him as the 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] BEST JUCO player in the nation prior being recruited by Marquette. He was also selected as a NJCAA First-Team All-American two years in a row!

Will it take some time to fully blend into the flow of Fred’s system? Yes, but with the passage of time, he has the ability to change the dynamic of the game. Collectively, this band of powerful play making brothers has final four potential in my opinion!

If only he could have practiced with ISU for 1.5 years to get to know the team a little better.

I think maybe some ISU fans are being just a bit too sensitive here. The tweet was one man's opinion......others differ. He may or may not be right. None of us know what McKay is really going to bring to this team. Personally, I don't expect a lot from him offensively except perhaps endless alley-oops from Monte, Naz and BDJ (and even Niang). I also think he is going to have an impact on the transition offense with his rebounding. If he gets the outlet pass out as fast as Hogue and Edozie do, it is going to be a thing of beauty. I think his biggest immediate impact will be on defense, and freeing Hogue and Niang (and others) up for more rebounding and transition buckets.

No doubt there is going to be an adjustment at first. But, we all should have enough faith in CFH and the players by now to make those adjustments. Fortunately, ISU has what should be a couple of easy opponents and a decent opponent in South Carolina before the Big 12 season starts. Hopefully, enough time to make the necessary adjustments.

Relax and enjoy.

Those idiots on Cyclone Fanatic are overreacting to what I said again.

I didn't know Seth was a member of CF. Oh, and if he's reading this: don't call me an idiot, moron.

Real professional, Seth. Don't be a nimrod.

Yeah, I think he already deleted that tweet. What a ******.

So basically if McKay isn't as good as advertised, this "analyst" will point to this tweet and the genius of it. But if McKay is in fact a stud, he'll won't have to really address it again.

**** this. I'm going to lunch, since I've already been served here. My time will be better spent doing some work this afternoon instead of dealing with all you Hok lovers.
