We don't need luxury boxes.
Not for individuals. We don't have enough big ticket donors. But for corporate donors? Hell yea they would love a box every once in a while. Give them away to employees and things.

I was thinking about this....if Pollard is doing the South End Zone Project for a coach that has a terrible record and wins about 4 games, or less per year, what is the dept. going to do for a coach that is actually winning and winning big games in the conference and in the post season? Line it with gold? Add a 3rd deck? Knock it down and make it twice the size?
Certainly Hilton needs luxury suites for more revenue production. Illinois is doing this with their renovations to Assembly Hall.
But over and above that:
1. New lobby/atrium on the south side, to reduce congestion and to provide room for bball HOF and audio/visual histories of our bball, wrestling, and volleyball programs.
2. More elevators on ground floor. We currently have one. Terribly congested before/after games. Need a bank of 3.
3. Parking ramp would be nice.
4. Restaurant open to the public with normal operating hours would be nice.
They look nice but I'm not a fan. Keep hilton the same.Yes, we need to do something like Illinois is doing:

Was wondering what the Johnny's renovation project was that is listed under pending projects on FP&M active capital projects. That will be nice and I'm sure there is enough demand for it.
You could turn the concourse into seats, but then where would all the hippies dance?
I dont see any room for suites. I guess we could get a bigger video board.

Add a couple of Final Four/Championship banners and Hoiberg's name to the court and call it a day.
