We do not do well against physical teams. Not a good recipe for tournament success.

I love this team, but we need to get more mentally tough against these types of teams.

SC is good - we always have problems with above average defensive teams that have more than one big man. Nothing has really changed

South Carolina is good? Is it their losses against Baylor, Charlotte, and Akron that make them good?

They play aggressive defense and a deep bench. That's all I can really say. Bad bad game, and a horrible loss by ISU.

I think we should have played Edozie more instead of Hogue. Edozie and McKay give us a more physical frontcourt. Plus Edozie is a better free throw shooter than Hogue.

Ah hell, everyone. Don't go melting down on me. It's actually unusual to go undefeated in non conference. We're still undefeated at home. You don't learn anything about yourself by blowing out a bunch of cream puffs. Learn from this and move on. Time to work on the half court some more and practice free throws. Plenty of leaders on this team. I'm not worried.

That was just plain ugly. Guys got beat up and could not respond. Even though SC had 3 guys foul out, the officials didn't do ISU any favors. As always, you got to make shots to win, and 1 for 18 from 3 was really bad. I think everyone was pressing a little too much. Something to work on. Also, I hate the nonconference schedule this year.
