This team is just as good as last years team. We just didn't have a will to win tonight
I dunno. We got lucky a few times last year. It rimmed out instead of in, is all. I don't think you can question the character of the team based on these two losses.

Ah hell, everyone. Don't go melting down on me. It's actually unusual to go undefeated in non conference. We're still undefeated at home. You don't learn anything about yourself by blowing out a bunch of cream puffs. Learn from this and move on. Time to work on the half court some more and practice free throws. Plenty of leaders on this team. I'm not worried.
SC is kinda cream puff though. This isn't a good team we played by any means.

We do not do well against physical teams. Not a good recipe for tournament success.

I love this team, but we need to get more mentally tough against these types of teams.

This and teams that have the ability to slow the game down. SC played ISU perfect. Not many teams can do that.

Ugly ugly loss. This just isn't a good SC team. Hope SC can become a top 100 rpi team come March or this is really going to hurt us bad with seeding.

With wins over Iowa State and Okie State and the SEC being down, South Carolina could end up making the tourney with a good showing in SEC conference play. I don't think this will be a bad loss, especially with it being at a neutral site far from home. ISU still has plenty of great shots at resume building games. Some days the shots just don't drop. This will probably get them refocused heading into Big 12 play. A little ego check in a pretty meaningless game can sometimes be a good thing.

Hero ball has been a symptom of hoiball.

I think Fennelly and Hoiberg should switch jobs for a few days. Fennelly wouldn't put up with that cocky ****.

How are we going to win on the road

Probably won't win at WVU. Other than that I don't see why we can't win the rest. When the refs let you play football/hockey/rugby, it's hard to play basketball. Free throws are to blame for the loss. Nothing else. If we shoot like that from the line with that many attempts, we will probably lose every time. Miss 14 free throws and lose by 4? What are the odds that happens with this team? Sucks, but I'm not worried. It will help in the long run.

Should I just expect to lose to lose to everyone we play outside of Hilton? Other than the Iowa game we have looked like absolute ******* **** every time we leave Ames.
