AND - that stupid *** technical on MM could have easily put this in the classification of another hose job, fortunately, we are enough better than KU to overcome it.

At first I thought they were gonna get the ball after shooting 4-FT; glad it only turned into a 3-pt play

I thought they burned bright and quickly. They were as intense as anywhere for the 1st half but the 2nd half lost a bit of an edge when we got ourselves a double digit lead. Still very good overall.

I don't know man, there was one commercial break where the crowd seemed to get so loud as they were leading out, it sounded like the crowd blew the levels on their mics. To be honest, the last five minutes, naked women could have been running on the court and I'm not sure I would have noticed. It was getting pretty intense for me personally. I was pretty focused on game only.

Let me state this first and foremost, KU lost this game because their transition defense was atrocious. In no way shape or formdo I think that what was or was not called as fouls ultimately led to the end result of this game. That said, just make sure you have this game DVR'd so that any KU fans never have to listen to "KU gets all the calls" or "ISU always get screwed by the refs" ever again. There's now officially one game where KU did not get all the calls and ISu did not get screwed by the refs. May we never have to have this dumb conversation again.
my count for the game was 6 bum calls in KUs favor and 4 bum calls in ISUs favor. So no! KU won the call battle and lost anyway. The officiating wasn't egregious enough to swing the outcome in KUs favor.

Yeah it's terrible that they call a foul on him for breaking the rules. You have to catch the ball if you're going to slam it like that.

You do realize ESPN and other networks filter out crowd noise so their commentators can be heard and understood on TV, right? Of course you're not going to get an accurate feel for crowd noise by watching on TV.

Hats off to ISU for an excellent game tonight. Tough to win on the road in the Big 12 these days. Bummed to see KU's transition defense fail so epically. Kinda surprised to only see about three fouls called on KU shot attempts but so it goes. Considering the foul trouble KU was in in the first half I was pretty pleased that they were able to keep the game close. Oh, well. Self will have his hands full tightening up the d before Oklahoma comes to town Monday. All in all, a pretty fun game to watch. Onward!

Passive aggressive much? I'd encourage you to check ISU's kenpom foul rates under Hoiberg before you start insinuating anything. We make you put the ball in the basket and you didn't.

did not know; but makes sense because in years past it was so loud you couldn't hear the announcers.

Just got home. Loved it. Awesome win. The best part of the game? Looking at KU's Bench and seeing Bill Self with his head in his hands.

Great win. I have two complaints however.

1. Free throws (I think we can all agree on this)
2. That cluster F that is the parking lot after the game.

Really happy I got to see this game in person!
