OU: some of the worst fans in college basketball. Seriously do not deserve that team and coach.

ISU showed up more than their fans did....and that is saying something...
In their defense, it's not football.

We won't get out of the first round. Upset special.

We're getting out of the first round. These teams in the B12 are getting used to our style a bit, I think. We got beat by the best two teams in our conference on the road.

you shut the **** up. I don't give a **** what you think. We are not tough. You can argue with that? **** off.

My bad, didn't mean to blow up on you personally, just really ******. Yeah we're not tough, but I also remember that the team last year wasn't really tough in conference play until the end of the year. Hopefully somehow this team can figure it out by then.

The tape is out on McKay. OU got it.
My HD tv showed players looking at each other in disappointment on the defensive end. They are coached, coached, coached to not commit fouls....but, hell, you got to read a game and have a feel for it. We needed Edozie or someone in there at some point to play defense like they gave a **** and had some ******* pride. About the fifth bunny layup with Hogue and Niang and McKay looking at each other should have warranted a technical from some coach.....wish we still had Doc Sadler.
Yes, you can help players mature to the point where they can hit a free throw when someone is chanting at them. That was embarassing for our whole program. We looked totally Bush to miss something like 5 free throws because they are talking about our mommas.

Here nor there
Losing because of talent is one thing. Losing because of lack of focus/effort is another whether you're team is great or terrible. Embarrassing performance tonight.
Hate to break it to you, but we lost largely due to talent. OU was picked to finish above us because they are overall bigger, stronger, more athletic, have several guards that can create/handle/shoot, and have two posts just as good as Georges on offense but can also defend and rebound.

Hoiberg has done such a great job we our blind to the fundamental short-comings of a team that is replacing two All-Americans.

Fred needs to spend more time on defense and employ some of Floyd's junk defenses. Fred won't even change defenses during the game to slow teams down when they're in a groove.

But last year we didn't roll over and die anytime adversity hit

Especially when we lost 3 in a row in conference after cracking the top 10:

01/11/201411:00 amat Oklahoma#9Lloyd Noble Center • Norman, OKESPNUL 82–87 11,10514–1 (2–1)
01/13/20148:00 pm#15 Kansas#8Hilton Coliseum • Ames, IAESPNL 70–77 14,38414–2 (2–2)
01/18/20143:00 pmat Texas#8Frank Erwin Center • Austin, TXB12NL 76–86 12,70914–3 (2–3)

Or when we went to Morgantown after reeling off 3 straight including winning @OSU:

02/10/20146:00 pmat West Virginia#11WVU Coliseum • Morgantown, WVESPNUL 77–102 8,17718–5 (6–5)

Or when we lost 2 or 3 to close out the regular season with our only win against TCU:

03/01/20146:00 pmat Kansas State#15Bramlage Coliseum • Manhattan, KSESPNUL 73–80 12,52822–6 (10–6)
03/04/20146:00 pmat Baylor#16Ferrell Center • Waco, TXESPN2L 61–74 22–7 (10–7)

I'm really convinced this is the year of the fair-weather fan because I don't think they were around last season.

You see a team so offensively talented and it sucks you have to worry because you know they cannot consistently perform at all on the defensive boards or on defense in the half court.

ANd teams are learning that if they can withstand the barrage and hang around, the Cyclones will let them back in it on their home court.

"I miss last year's team"

As if they could win on the road either. They lost in Norman. They lost every road game that wasn't a gimme, except OSU. In fact, you realize last year's team was 2 lucky game-tying buzzer beaters away from having a losing conference record, right?

I'll wait until March before I judge this team compared to last year's team.

THis game was lost due to rebounding and horrible defense inside in the second half.

With a heavy dose of missed free throws contributing to malaise, funk, and demoralization. A general immature attitude and lack of pride.
