Was looking on stubhub and there's still quiet a few tickets reasonably priced. Anyone been to the "octagon of doom"? Hows the views?
Anyone making the drive to K-state Saturday?

Will be there. Was wondering if there would be a bar cyclone fans would gather at before the game? Never been to the arena before but looking forward to it. Hopefully cyclone fans take advantage of the relatively short drive to Manhattan
I went to the Baylor at Kansas State game this year. The place kind of reminded me of Carver Hawkeye, but it was louder. I got my ticket for fifteen bucks or so and it was definitely worth it. There is street parking directly across the street from the pay lot, so do that if possible.
I also took some highways in Missouri/Kansas to avoid that Kansas Tollway, but they weren't bad, so I would recommend that alternate route if you hate paying tolls.

A few of us went down last year. We were in the corner by the ISU bench about half way up and no complaints of the seats. It's a really neat arena (imo) and everyone around was was very friendly. They absolutely crank their sound system. I think it's louder than their fans.
I'm making the drive. I picked up tickets off vividseats yesterday for $50 each. We were just going to drive in Saturday morning from Des Moines, then stay in KC Saturday night but now that I see the weather forecast we might just drive all the way in Friday night after work and stay for the weekend.
Picked up 4 tickets on the baseline for 55 a piece through K-State Athletics... lol
Being a college student (senior), planning on going down with my 3 amigos either Friday night or Saturday morning.. The saturday forecast for Manhattan looks rather problematic..
Anyone think that if we left early enough saturday morning we could still make it through easily?

Jealous to those going. Have a ball. I have been fortunate to attend road gms this year at OSU, OU, KU, Baylor, and Texas, with TCU onboard next weekend....KSU and WVU weren't possible this year, and TT I chose not to attend ( thank God!!). KSU is supposed to be a great arena and environment...have fun and cheer hard...
I live two hours away and with thr current forecast I will not be attempting it.
The turnpike isn't bad. Starts just east of Lawrence and ends in Topeka. Maybe a couple bucks. Oh and the speed limit is 75.
