That all started when Monté doubled down on Thomas. We double down, they kick it out and swing it around for a wide open three.

Just don't have the overall talent IMO. OU has an advantage at every spot besides pg. If someone asked you how last year's team would be without Kane and Ejim, I would say bubble team.

We have beat more talented teams with Hoiball. The issue with OU is that they play Hoiball, but with more two-way talent

We're also pretty much a conventionally built team with pretty traditional 1-5. Niang is not traditional, but now he is pretty much always guarded by a more athletic 4 vs. being guarded by a 5 most of the time last year. This isn't a team built for Hoiball like last year. Kane and Ejim were not only great, but they were a PG that could post of like a PF and a post player that could shoot 3s like a wing. We lost two great players, great leaders and two great mismatch guys.
