Why is everyone so worried about Ridley? He didn't do anything against us in 2 games this year.

Everyone keeps saying that as if it's carved in stone. Has anyone ever compiled statistics to support this?

For example, didn't Texas just beat TT 3 times this season? For that matter, hasn't KU beaten us and other Big XII teams 3 times in a season on multiple occasions?

If that is the case, would a game vs. Baylor be preferable to playing TX since BU has beaten us twice this season? I for one prefer to play TX who we have dominated on offense twice. I think we match up well against TX but not vs. BU.

Your other point is definitely more of a concern as TX will playing to ensure they get into the tourney, though they may be less desperate now as I think yesterday's win gets them in.

It is rare because
*teams don't play very many teams three times in a season,
*teams have to sweep the first two to have a chance to win three times, and
*there is still the chance that even a lower ranked team will finally get hot by that third game.

It is probably more accurately "infrequent" rather than "tough to do".

This. I would love it if Barnes trys something different and attempts to keep Cameron in for more of the game. McKay will beat him down the floor every fricken time. It is kind of tough to stop the alley-oop when you are wheezing your way across the midcourt stripe.

We need this win to secure a 3 seed, IMO. The difference between a 3 and a 4 is huge. We really need this one.
