Do we pull for a scorched-earth tournament now and just root for every possible upset, even against Big XII? I don't think I can actually root for a favored team here on out.

I'm done with the Tourney. I don't care what happens. Our penance now is waiting for football to start. Thanks a lot guys.

Bad time to have another "wake up call" game. This team just never quite had the chemistry that it had last year and playing down all the time or losing to bad teams I guess was our warning sign we ignored that something like this could happen. Very frustrating, I hope this one hurts all offseason for the guys and lights a fire under them that you have to play hard on both ends of the floor for 40 minutes and not buy into the hype. Unfortunately I can even drown my sorrows until tonight so I have to let my frustration simmer all afternoon until I can numb the pain later...

Players should be ashamed. Just pathetic. With the epic fan support they get, they give us that??

You know what, I'm a big believer in KARMA, and I'm not ****** at the players - its the fans that kept talking about SMU on here that really **** me off. "Can we beat SMU?" "Is SMU really that good?" That kind of crap! When will ISU fans ever learn? Don't bury your self in the Hype. It will get you every time.

You are never as bad as you think and never as good as you think. We just thought we were too good to lose to UAB!! Many of us deserve this loss.

I think I'm rooting for all big 12, then all upsets.

I don't want our conference to come off as totally overrated

McKay and Thomas are the only players that deserve any credit for showing up in that game

My favorite weekend of the year has been officially ruined.

Should have seen it coming. Slow starts, poor effort, no rebounding, bad defense have been staples of this team for the entire year. Sooner or later our offense wasn't going to be able to bail all of that out.

Hopefully this fuels the fire for next year.

I like the posters who say they saw this coming all year. What the hell does that even mean? Are you not aware of all the games they won? So when they're beating Kansas, you're thinking "They might be beating Kansas, but they will lose in the first round of the tournament! All that hustle, points, and defense can only lead to bad things!"

Game was lost by rebounding and not boxing out which is sad. Unlike a lot of other problems, that's easily fixed by just playing your *** off. Dissapointed in not just the loss, but the way it happened.

Almost, but I say not quite as bad as Hampton. On that level though.
