This. I think he's a good kid and tries hard, but has anyone watched him play? Slow is an understatement. It's great that he can shoot and post up, but defensively ISU would have to play zone because he's not going to stop anyone. I'm guessing he heads back to Europe this summer and cashes a nice check.

In reality, ISU needs to fill out the roster wisely. They need 1-2 more bigs. A backup pg wouldn't hurt. But, it also wouldn't be a bad idea to stash a couple of transfers for 2016-17 when they lose a bunch of players. With the run they want to make next year we need contributors or guys that are waiting to start the following year. Roster fillers are not an option.

How many minutes has he had this year? I'm thinking maybe 12? Kinda hard to make a judgement on that, isn't it?

He can shoot and is 7 feet. He may not be an every game guy, but he should be able to help us. Then again, I thought Edozie was going to get 5-10 minutes some games for defense and rebounding after watching him against Maryland.

For him to play, somebody else has to sit. It is tough to think of situations this season when I wanted him on the floor instead of someone else.

Well he passed up the money for school in the first place, I'm guessing nothing has changed his mind. He will be a weapon after he develops. If he wants to go pro and "cash in", he's better off developing under an NBA guy like Fred. And he will cash in in the long run with a degree, I think him and his parents are smart enough to know that.

That's because he is too skinny still and still adjusting over here. That won't always be the case.

I feel like he will fill into Georges role after he graduates. Known as a good passing as a big, knock down the 3, and play in the post. This next yr can work on developing his post moves and gaining weight. IMO

Maybe I overvalue his defense, rebounding, effort, as well as the message it sends. He certainty would not be the hot hand. But we did have foul issues at times and IMO defense and rebounding issues due to lack of size.

I do not anticipate him being on the team next year. If he is, great. I just feel that his plan coming over here was not to wait a year to get 10 min of playing time. He seems like a great dude, and his wing span has been great for practices

If he expected anything else than thats his fault. I guarantee Fred didn't walk into the Tsalm household singing about how their son would be playing 20 minutes a game.

I anticipate him being on the team. Probably won't play that much. Thing is, it's gonna be Georges, McKay and nader's senior year next year as well. Rotation is gonna open up big time for his last two years. If he still can't crack it, then at some point during his junior year, he's gonna pull a Lucca and leave. And we will all be happy for him.

Plus he doesn't have to live in a country where Nazis control elected governmental positions. It's still a big deal for people from some countries to get an opportunity to live in the US, especially live here for free and get a college education.

In order for him to see much playing time next year Fred will need to go away from his normal 8 man playing rotation. Edozie was our 9th man this year and between the B12 regular season and tournament games he played 17 minutes and scored 3 points in 22 games.

They actually have a handful of universities in Europe now. A couple of them almost as good as Iowa State University of Science and Technology.

It's hilarious that you base your opinion off of what you assume someone is thinking without absolutely any evidence to support it. Georgios looked like he was having a blast being on the team this year.

Guys go to Kentucky and sit on the bench. I'm not sure why you think he's ready to play professionally in Europe if he's not ready to play college yet.
