haha, no at least we dont think so. This is per a national source, or at least not someone that uniquely covers Iowa State.

Because a national source is going to give you info before he gives it to a guy like CW, Travis Hines or even Jeff Goodman.

Hey guys,

I'm a student, and am good friends with someone close to the team. (He knows all the players, managers, etc). His dad is also a large donor to the University, and they are know the team well.

He's been telling me for days now that 2 of the 3 scholarships are already spoken for. Has heard they are transfers who will sit out one year, and have 2+ years of eligibility. Also states that the team is waiting until Diallo announces to release any information about who they signed.

For what it's worth, I think he's speaking the truth. I also think Payne is one of those two guys. It makes sense, and it follows Fred's strategy pretty well.

I guess I don't know why everyone is so bent about someone throwing something out there. This is what message boards are for.

I feel like that account should be required to have a notice stating that it is an unofficial account and not associated with the University or the Athletic Department. It's being disingenuous.

Its a fan account on twitter... There's only about 70 other types of accounts like that related to ISU alone

Probably just jealous that somebody potentially knows something that they don't. Doesn't this happen pretty much every time a new poster shares some inside info?

They don't have a source. They search random keywords on Twitter. Likely Hoiberg, Iowa State, etc and then jump at the first sight of something that could happen. They got this info from a tweet 3 days ago from a random person who follows ISU.

Some "source"

Lol the guy with 11 followers, for sure that was our guy /s

its because we aren't officially affiliated with the school, so doubters doubt and haters hate. We just let it happen
