Congrats to Matt Abdelmassih. Classy guy, respresented Iowa State well, did a great job while he was here.

I wish him nothing but good luck as he moves forward with his career.

Im whatever on this, I guess he must have just gotten an offer that quadrupled what he was making here because he wouldn't leave Fred for less (from his mouth). That is the only thing that irritates me about the whole thing. I have flat out told my boss that I will leave if someone offers me substantially more. No reason to not be truthful.

I have a question for those who know, which of the high school kids that we have did he land? I know he was/is the lead with Vaughn and Diallo but has he signed anyone?

How dare he go back to his Alma mater.....I'm sure at the time he didn't think that position would be available... Anyone that is mad at Matt for making his decision are complete fools. I appreciate for what he did for us, and wish him the best out east.

Im not mad just wished that quote from his mouth wasn't out there. I don't blame him for going home at all.

Guys, when you have some success with a program, your assistant coaches will leave. Fred's had staff turnover the last 4 years and guess what? We've been just fine.

Best of luck to Matt at St. John's. There's nothing like going home.

I say thanks to Matt for working hard for ISU during the FH era. The great thing is he and ISU are parting on good terms. It means we have a contact out east that is well placed. SJU will not be able to sign all of the east coast transfers and recruits. Its always good to have friends that are well-placed. I don't think Matt A. will turn a blind eye to his friend Fred H. that gave him his start. Some things although not ideal, are not as bad as they first appear.
