I LOVED Popples. I had the purple one with the pink ears/stomach. Also, I had a Pillow Person (but those were not nearly as cool as Popples).

I had a Plucky Popple bank. Well, I still do. I just don't happen to use it for that purpose anymore. Although maybe I should start using it instead of a wallet. Just for the looks when I bust out my popple in the checkout lane in the grocery store.

Are those the little ones that are small enough that they fit in your pocket? Have a little zipper (I hesitate to say "a coinpurse")? You should wear it on a chain, like people do with their wallets. It would make you look extra-thug.

I think you can be arrested for that.

I just burst out laughing at that. :notworthy:

At the risk of giving the thread a topic, I think it was making fun of someone on the Hawk board Hawkeye Report... who was a flaming idiot and went and flamed someone who had made a prediction that didn't come to light immedietly, but once it did he looked like a freak'n idiot.

And because it would be wrong to bring this thread back on topic, time to drive in a different direction again. I'm really enjoying the new desk I just finished putting together

(I apologize for bringing it back to topic, it's the engineer in me)

This thread is now about the Gummi Bears:

Holy crap I haven't seen those guys in a long time. I don't even remember the premise of their story line (similar to the Smurfs maybe?) but I recognize them by sight. Good freak'n grief thats a ways back

Oh no, these were most certainly basketball sized. I mean, as Superdorf deftly noted, if I'm going to get arrested for busting out my popple in public, it's not going to be pocket-sized.

I feel so dirty.

First of all - kudos for explaining this. I hadn't read BryceC's post - plus, it was late.

Basic synopsis: a group of bears living in a tree whose butts are super-bouncy. I don't know, maybe they fought crime or something - the important part was that they bounced.

Just... wow. I'm shaking my head.

Are you serious? That's awesome! :biglaugh:

I may have made up the part about fighting crime for effect. My good friend Wikipedia explains the show much better - the serious tone of the "Premise" section slays me. LINK

(I really only mostly remember Grammi. I do also remember the "token preteen" Sunni.)

It makes it funnier if they really were crime fighters though. :biglaugh:
