JP and searches

Question regarding JP, coaching searches and confidentiality.

During either the GMac or Chiz search, wasn't there the a coach we were kinda high on, JP as well perhaps, but then that coach started talking and the idea kinda caught on that JP dumped him for it?

Anyone else remember something along those lines, or am I just transposing Draft Day?

Yeah, there have been a lot of things that people think the media and insiders got wrong but was actually a falling apart of events at the goal line. JP has always been secretive but I think his prowess has been greatly overstated as some of what he's done is having to settle at the last minute.

I remember this board was convinced we were getting Gary Patterson the night before Rhoads broke. Then we were all "Paul who?" for awhile.

Then some great stuff happened. Then some not so great stuff happened. And here we are today.
