I made a binder for our MSDS sheets. I asked if we really needed one since our office doesn't use chemicals, but I was told to. So I have coffee pot cleaner, windex, and one or two other random things that were under one of our sinks.

And your next assignment, should you decide to accept it, is to draft a paper cut prevention plan in line with the office safety protocols.

Oh yes, for a couple of years we had some BS in our performance appraisals about safety because someone in management was too stupid to figure we were not working with power tools and that it would be okay to delete that from the appraisal template.

All my friends are getting married and buying houses... seems like a waste of your early 20s.

Speaking of funny/silly safety stuff...a guy I used to work with was responsible for removing doors in my area. So the support staff sits in an office area near our minion area, and it used to have doors on it. One day, doofus opened the door swiftly into his nose. Although he didn't break it, it bled pretty good, and he complained of being light headed...so of course, with occupational safety laws being what they are, he was sent to the hospital for a checkup in the ambulance, and all was fine. But, since it was a recordable (required more than standard first aid), it triggered a safety team intervention, and voila...the doors were removed so that doofus couldn't wing one into his nose again.

That was random, even for this thread.

I watched the documentary Blackfish. Are you saying it was innacurate?

Blackfish was a great/sad documentary. Just saw a Sea World ad saying what I posted. Something also about they haven't taken whales from the wild in 35 years.

Heard Cool Kids on the radio while piling on the interstate miles today and it reminded me of something I had been thinking about on RT. Have you noticed all of the cool kids here have internet and social media stalkers?
