teams they have a home-and-home with, I'm assuming. Because the Mid to Low Major schools usually change every year, plus there is no reason to really stop him from going to a low-mid major.

That is strange.

Looks as though the Virginia, Providence, and Iowa restrictions are because these teams along with Memphis will be in the Emerald Coast Classic in 2016.

Memphis is in a tournament with Iowa, Virginia & Providence in the future. That's why those 3 are restricted. And I'm guessing that Memphis plays Tennesee in the future as well.

With the acc and Tennessee restrictions, that eliminates most teams that heavily recruited him out of school. The more restrictions the better chance we have, but it's a real long shot since every school with a scholarship will want him.

@GaryParrishCBS: What’s hilarious is Memphis denied Tennessee as a possible “future” opponent. But Memphis has also said it won’t schedule Tennessee.

@GaryParrishCBS: True story: Memphis initially sent Tennessee an email saying it can’t contact Austin Nichols because UT is a future opponent. Naturally …

@GaryParrishCBS: … UT responded by saying, “Um, no we’re not.” So Memphis sent another email saying UT is now simply on a “restricted” list. Just because.
