If i could go back I'd pursue a career in coaching.

I'd love to get into coaching, but I don't have all that much experience playing the game at a serious level. It'd be hard to coach it without any sort of usable on-floor experience... and without any credentials.

Exactly. The lack of job security is frightening as well. I guess I'll stick with my Accounting & Finance degree for now

Dog training. I trained my first dog pretty well, and my second okay (both labs). Both are running in the big hunting ground in the sky now. My daughter has a german shepherd (1 yr old) that is really smart, but is a handful, and we dogsit her quite a bit. She has a completely different mindset than my labs. I'd love to have the skill of that hispanic dog whisperer on TV.

Thanks, lady! It's been really hard to know exactly what the teacher wants, etc., you know?

yeah and I obviously have nooooooooooo idea what they are looking for either. But if I had to purchase two photos from that list, those are the ones I would get. So that was my logic.

Angie, I like 2, 3, and 6 if you are going for use of lighting.

Angie. My wife was in the same boat as you for photography, and she took a few lessons at the D.M. social club. It was pretty reasonably priced and she's pretty decent at it now. The camera is now hardly ever on "auto."

Me, personally, I would like to know more about actual vehicle building. I'm pretty mechanically sound when it comes to a lot of DIY house type stuff, but if I were ever to take on a project car, I wouldn't know what engine goes with what transmission, etc.
When I started reading your post, I thought you meant Angie was your interest...

i'd actually like to learn more about cricket. I've listened to the bbc some this summer and they'll talk about it, but I have no idea what's going on. I'd also like to follow/learn more about hurling. I'd love to play, but would be too scared of getting hit with the ball.

Thank you! It's so hard to choose, because my favorites might not be the best composition, you know?

I always thought I would try painting on canvas when I retired. I used to be a pretty good artist with colored pencil, pastels, and charcoal.

My workplace does a company team building thing every month, with different groups planning the activity. The ladies lined up a group painting date at Glazed Expressions in Clive. It was good fun, but I should've started years earlier -- I'm a little shaky.

Angie on #'s 1, 3, and 4 if you work in a slight little gaussian blur on everything in the background I think it would take those photos to the next level

nice shots tho, very cool

I have very few regrets about college but one is that I never took a jewelry design class. I plan to try it in retirement. Also, I used to have some roses that I cared for. They came with the yard but I never got into them as much as I wanted to...another retirement thing I guess.

Angie, I love the detail on #5.

Thank you! When I took that photo, I wasn't sure if anyone else would find it interesting! I liked the tree a lot.

Thanks, man! I just got a subscription to Photoshop and Lightroom, I'll see if I can figure that out!

In other news, where the hell have you been?!
