She smiled and said, "I figured you were in a hurry since you left your coffee cup on the desk when you left." (I tend to sit in the same location every day, and we're supposed to put our coffee cups in the dishwashwer when we leave)...

I like the phrase "Gambled and Lost" for this type of event. If you think about it, everytime you fart you are taking a gamble.

After reading this thread yesterday, the heat and humidity today has made me seriously question 4 of the 5 farts I've let loose today.
