Thank you baagoe for getting the thread back on track. I'm concerned about Cydkar since he didn't come in to straighten things out.

They had me over on height by an inch to inch and a half, but as I mostly road the bench, don't remember another team ever complaining about match up problems.

Every time I get measured at the doctor's office I'm 6'1" just as I was in HS, course now they measure with my shoes on.

@Evan_Flood: Once again, Kobe King is unstoppable today. 19 points for @WisconsinPGC. Still 15 minutes left. #Badgers and #Cyclones watching.

@Evan_Flood: This is the Kobe King and Luke Loewe show. They've combined for 28 points in the first half. @WisconsinPGC leads Dallas Mustangs 39-32.

Great is Great

Does it really matter if Simpson is 5'11" vs. 6'1"?

If his speed is average it might. But if he has great quickness and a strong handle, not a concern. It's nice to have a scoring PG, but the most critical qualities of a strong PG are breaking down opposing defenses and applying ball pressure on defense.

It's not to long ago UConn won the National Championship with 2 six foot guards in Boatright and Napier. If a kid can play, height doesn't manner.

I doubt that. Kobe King is the most likely...

Horne is going to commit in Sept/Oct and has us and KSU as his two favorites.

I'll take those odds over King who isn't committing until next summer and will probably have a far larger offer list by then.

I believe you, but am curious where you heard that about his favorites?

I read a similar article about Horne, so it's accurate. Just believe he is a Kansas State lean.

Xavier Simpson, Kobe King, and Jeriah Horne will all be Cyclones.
Pretty strong statement. Horne most likely but hearing a lean to KSU. King is a year away. So much can happen

As for Simpson, you want to watch Cassius Winston. He will choose between Michigan and Michigan State. He chooses Michigan and Simpson becomes MSU plan B. In that case we don't get him.

This. Hopefully Horne avoids KSU and comes to Ames instead. Hopefully Winston picks MSU (that hurt to write; can't wait until Izzo leaves..) and Simpson chooses ISU. Hopefully Wisconsin falls off a bit this year and we maintain our upward momentum and King chooses us over the presumed home-state favorite. Hope.
