The 800 years ago versions of Mrs.00 and Cowgirl were all "Yeah, those printed books are nice and all, but I like the feel of a stone tablet in my hands."

Not to be a d***, but SAW. That is like nails on a chalkboard for me.
I seen that error too (sorry, that was rather ****ish of me)

some of you people must have cordless drills, right? We need to get one to install blinds. Also probably for other stuff. DH is going to procrastinate on looking so I am going to help! He mentioned he wants one that has a battery that could be used on other tools? Is that a thing?
I did a little googling and I feel like I see DeWalt everywhere IRL.
any suggestions?
Got married. Went on honeymoon to Iceland. Bought 90 year old 3000 sqft center hall colonial in Cleveland Heights. All in a span of 3 weeks. All the life changes.
Wait. Set myself up for one.
Dewalt is really popular Craftsman are good also. Get a minimum 19.2 volt for running some of the other tools. Many times you can buy a bundle, for a little more than a single item. Drill, Skill saw and a couple of battery paks and a charger all in one container. Also try handling the equipment at the store to see if it is a comfortable fit in your hand. That maybe a main factor on the one you like the best. Can't really go wrong w/ any of the major brands.
Scored a hot lunch date tomorrow through Tinder! Hope I'm not being catfished. Haha.
I do like how a book feels. And I like flipping back pages if I forgot something, I like thumbing through in the library to see if it's something I'll like, and I like marking my page and seeing how much is left.
A reader is a possibility at some point, but I still like actual books
I know I'm not in the market but Tinder seems so convenient that it is weird. Can't people meet the old-fashioned way, by getting drunk in a bar?Scored a hot lunch date tomorrow through Tinder! Hope I'm not being catfished. Haha.

My wife and I are adamantly the same way, but she's been traveling recently and realized that e-books are great when traveling.
On our vacation this summer we stopped a the Little Bighorn National Battlefield (which was awesome) and it made me realize I'd forgotten most everything I learned reading Nathaniel Philbrick's fabulous book The Last Stand. So my wife downloaded a copy and I read most of it on our vacation, but then we got home just as I got to the battle parts, so I pulled out the paper copy and had it open to the detailed map of the battlefield while reading on the ebook.

definitely need to go play with the tools in store.
there's an easy one for you, WDSM.
Try Craig's List for a used one.I love the feeling of books. I try to read about a book every week or two and with all this traveling, I might have to make the leap to a Kindle. I was going to buy one when they had that summer amazon prime day/black friday in the summer thing. But I was on the waiting list and never got it. I can make the jump for $40 but $80 is kinda steep.
Less DWI, more STD.Meh, times, they are a changin'. Way more people don't go to a bar than those that do.
