I missed the draft by mistake (wrote down the wrong day), but I am still pretty pleased with my roster.

QB: Ben Roethlisberger, Tom Brady
RB: Jonathan Stewart, Knile Davis, Alfred Blue, David Johnson
WR: Odell Beckham Jr., Calvin Johnson, Antonio Brown, Steve Smith Jr., Terrance Williams
TE: Jimmy Graham, Kyle Rudolph
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: Seahawks, 49ers

Need to upgrade at RB. Might try to work out a trade.

Yeah, your RB's are a hurting unit. You definitely don't need both those top 10 QB's, so maybe a bundle with one of them & Steve Smith or something. Could also just offer up one of your 3 stud WR's, unless you're wanting to start 3 every week.

Are you in a 5 team league? How do you get Brown, Johnson, and ODB while still getting a QB?

Ok, I'm Having trouble with my flex position My team:

WR Mike Evans
RB Matt Forte
RB Latavius Murray
TE Jordan Cameron
DEF Miami
K Janikowski

Flex options: Tre mason, Alfred Blue, Keenan Allen, Tj Yeldon?

If PPR I'd go Keenan Allen, but Yeldon would work too. In my opinion it's between those two.

I wouldn't start a hamstring hampered Tre Mason against Seattle.

Alfred Blue would be a decent choice except he's playing the Chiefs defense.

Keenan Allen is a gamble. Could payoff big if the rookie him shows up, or could be a bust, like many times last year.

T.J. Yeldon is another wild card but the Jaguars have stunk lately and they are playing a Carolina D that's been good against the run.

That's a tough choice. In order, I'd go Blue, Allen, Yeldon, then Mason.

Tell me where he needs help at WR?? I'm curious, because Cobb will be fine and Mathews will surprise a lot of people. I think he's in for a good year. Carr absolutely loves Cooper, so he'll get lots of targets.

Cobb is WR1. Matthews and Cooper have potential to be good, but who knows. Maybe Matthews had a fluke year. They happen a lot. I actually like Matthews though. Where he needs help is Cooper and Steve Smith. At this point you have to consider them both boom or bust WRs and I don't like that. Depending on whether or not he uses flex (my league doesn't) he should be good regardless of those two, but injuries happen. I wouldn't want to be relying on Cooper in the Raiders offense. Especially if I'm starting a RB from the same team. In my league we start 3 WRs and I wouldn't want Cooper as my third receiver.

Looks like Randall Cobb is going to start practicing in full. That's pretty good. I picked up James Jones in my league. It appears as though he will be the third WR in GB this year behind Cobb and Adams. Dropped Ty Montgomery in the process.

I need to ditch Melvin Gordon though. Looks like San Diego wants to go RB by committee. That's not good. Gonna try and stretch a deal for Lamar Miller.

With Woodhead on the roster they will always have a little bit of RB by committee. FWIW, I hear on local radio that they are going to give him full opportunity to be the primary back.

Maybe I should wait a week, but I'm afraid since he's going against the Lions run defense in week 1 he'll have some trouble.

I have P. Manning, have been approached about a trade revolving around Big Ben plus for Manning. How much extra is the question.

One option that comes to my mind is: Me giving Manning and A. Jeffrey for Ben and Calvin Johnson.
Another possibility is:Me giving Manning and Delanie Walker for Ben and Greg Olsen.

Standard scoring league. Seems like I probably come out better in scenario one while he comes out ahead in scenario 2. Thoughts?

Thanks

depends on how you value Manning vs Big Ben. Both have a legit WR and a running game to keep the other team honest. I like Calvin Johnson more than Jeffery so I'd try and take option one.

He has big upside, but that's all it is right now. With Gates suspended for four weeks, the offense may not be in full swing until his return. Tough decision, if you have to give up a lot for Miller I'd stick with Gordon. If you can get him on the cheap, go with the proven back.

I have my first ever auction draft tonight. Should be quite interesting. I just did a mock draft and I wished more people would have stuck around to simulate the rounds better. 10 person mock on Yahoo I ended up with...

QB B. Roethlisberger
RB E. Lacy
RB L. Bell
RB A. Morris
RB I. Crowell
RB L. Blount
RB T.J. Yeldon
WR M. Evans
WR J. Maclin
WR M. Wallace
WR N. Agholor
TE Travis Kelce
TE Owen Danels
DEF New England
K A. Vinatieri

Freaking stacked at RB, LOL. WR is definitely thin and I'd be working on a trade deal if this happened.

I'd give you the edge in both.

Standard scoring league. Will start 3 of these 4. Who's the odd man out?

Frank Gore
Lesean McCoy
Lamar Miller
Latavius Murray

Was going to sit Lesean due to injury questions but it sounds like he'll be ready to go Sunday. Might re-ask this Sunday morning but curious now.

Interesting. I worry about Ben's schedule and Bell being out. Giving up the better QB to upgrade at TE (a much needed upgrade though) seems wrong. Projected points are in the ballpark though, so maybe I should consider. Thanks for your thoughts.

If McCoy is healthy I'd go with him and sit Murray.

Start McCoy and Miller for sure. I'd go Gore, but that just me. Murray is a risk.
