Nobody's worried about Richardson. And unlike B12, B10 plays D. ... I didn't realize Ohio State or Michigan State couldn't throw the ball. Connor Cook has a good chance at being the first QB taken in the draft, and Cardale is a freak of nature.

And you play neither of those 2 teams. Why even use them as a comparison? Typical claire.

Is that why Baylor hung 41 on your best defense?

Pure talent standpoint, Lanning over both. Experience, Richardson. I do think Richardson would be a hell of a lot better today if he had Mangino/Sturdy all five years, but his situation/lack of development due to staff roulette set him up to fail.

Ummm... Baylor lost that game.

TCU put up 23 points against Minny.

Don't care, wasn't the argument.

Oh, and You have two teams in that conference that have something resembling competence offensively so I would hope they could play defense.

Can't wait to see Iowa's elite secondary shut them down!

Somebody help me find those games - that's something I want to see. I just can't seem to find them on the schedule.

Sash played on good teams, but between Spievey and Hyde he was never even the best DB on Iowa's roster.
Sash has played a lot more to this point than Taylor, but Taylor is MUCH more athletic, along with Lomax than Sash and Greenwood, and combined with our two NFL caliber corners I say this is the best secondary Iowa has had for some time.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say the only reason you think Taylor is more athletic (with zero evidence to back it up) is because he's black and Sash is white. And no, he's not more athletic. Sash holds records for athleticism at iowa and Taylor doesn't.

One of my threads has been hijacked by clairvoyantdan. As a huge fan of the Iowa Recruiting Thread, this means a lot.

Doing his best to divert a thread about opposing quarterbacks into a thread about Iowa d-backs and safeties. Similar to turning a thread about Iowa basketball recruiting into a thread about what a terrible basketball player Georges Niang is.

I'd be lying if I didn't say that there's an ounce of truth to that, we'd all be lying if we ignored that fact that football players are predominately made up of black players.
Taylor has a faster 40 time than Sash, had better offers (once committed to Georgia Tech) and moves a lot more fluidly, able to change direction and jump to defend a pass. Sash was top heavy, as many plays as he made, few of them had anything to do with his athletic ability. Right place, right time.

Who is Taylor? I've never even heard of him
