Smart coaches who intend on going for a FG to win the game don't run a play prior to kicking the FG making the kicker have to kick from an awkward angle. And even if Netten wanted it there, have Richardson drift over to the hash and take the knee. Don't have your running back break tackle after tackle over on the hash, risking fumble after fumble.

Did CPR miss the kick? No. But he absolutely mismanged the situation about as badly as you can.

Time to make a change at QB. I'm sorry but Sam has had all the opportunies in his years and still can't beat a quality opponent. If Rhoads wants to keep his job he gives Lanning a shot with 2 weeks to prepare for Kansas. I know the stats show Sam has been a decent QB but when you don't have the WINS to back it up it means nothing!

This loss is again on the head coach and the coaches on the offensive side of the ball. That said -- what an inopportune time for our Defense to suck when we had forced them to a 3rd and 4 in the second OT. That TD gave the Rocket Defense all the momentum it needed to stop us. Rhoads needs to be fired ASAP!
