Agreed. It was nice to not see Baylor WRs streaking down the sideline wide open. Wiltz is not a Big 12 CB right now, but he battled as well.

Did a great job today other than dropping those picks.

Unfortunately that seems to be this teams biggest weakness is getting turnovers. Nice that he was in position to make a play, but when a DB jumps a route like that he has to, has to, has to make that play. probably wouldn't have made a huge difference in this game, but being up 7-0 on Baylor would have looked good for a while. Whoever had the coverage on the first Baylor TV was in pretty good coverage too. Not really sure how the ball even got through his arms to the WR.

That dropped pic 6 was a 14 point swing. Well at least 13 point swing since Netton probably misses the extra point.

What's up with CB Sam Richardson? I think I saw him on special teams kick coverage.

Sometimes it takes a game like this to get kids over the hump. Puts a little swagger in their steps and they play with a little more confidence. I hope they can build on these games. Overall the D really stepped up. Held BU to 200 less yards of offense with 93 in the second half.

In addition BU punted 5 times and kick a field goal in the 4th quarter to make sure they sealed the game. BU looked afraid of losing and believed they may.......

Considering this's the first year of FBS football for Peavy and Wiltz I'd say they aren't doing that terrible considering they have gone up against probably the two best WRs in the entire country the last two weeks and 3-4 NFL WRs last 3 weeks. With another year in system Peavy, tribune and Wiltz should be ok for next year. We will have another 2-3 Dbs coming in next year too. What this defense needs next year is one more good juco OLB to replace Peters(not much of a loss) and a safety to replace Floyd. If we can find just those 2 at the juco level this defense will be even better. Jhausten will step right in and replace Pierson.

Peters is only a junior. We basically return everybody on defense next year.

Is Cotton-Moya really out the rest of the season???

I liked what I saw from the defense today. Holding Baylor to under 500 yards and only 45 points is amazing no matter what the weather was like. I think Harvey is going to be a good one. Jordan Harris reminds me of Jeremiah George but still needs a little work when it comes to being in the right place. Jay Jones, Knott, Peters, Mills and Seeley all return at LB next year as well as Wiltz, Tribune, Peavy and Cotton-Moya in the secondary. That's a lot of experience in the back 7. On the line we return Tucker, Thomas, White, Aka and Waggoner (sp?). I hope Nerness ends up dominating in spring and fall and becomes a legit player.
