5-star 2016 recruit Thon Maker in Waukee TODAY AND SUNDAY!

Hoping to see him there today. Watching Thon yesterday in person just gets you more excited about the possibility of him and Malou together. This kid is the real deal. If Izzo can fly in to watch Josh Jackson, Prohm should drive 40 minutes to see Maker.

Games start at 11:30 this morning at the Waukee Fieldhouse. Josh Jackson's team starting the day off vs. Jarred Vanderbilt's Victory Prep followed by Thon Maker playing Victory Rock Prep (who beat Josh Jackson's Prolific Prep yesterday). Should be an awesome match-up!

Thon's team will likely get to Waukee around 11 today to get a shoot around in, so he should be around for the first game to get some autographs and pictures!

I hope you are referring to your kids getting pictures and not yourself. I can't think of anything more off putting to a recruit than 30 somethings drooling over me and asking get my picture when I am 18 years old.

Really? I actually would find it more complementing to see 30 year olds wanting my autographs than kids.

Autographs would be flattering, considering little kids want autographs from everybody. Pictures would be a little weird though.

Awesome to see elite bball talent coming to central Iowa. Hope this event becomes annual. is there a reason they use Waukee hs other than maybe they booked the event? Do they have a better gym than other hs in dsm ?

Waukee's new fieldhouse could house a small D1 team. Very cool addition to the school.
