seems legit. alabama and iowa neck and neck. (!!!) they were gifted the right schedule at the right time.

I know as Oklahoma's boots were 99% up our rear end I was at least thankful we could be playing their untalented squad instead of Iowa or Michigan State.

My best explanation is every single team decided not to prepare for their superbowl this year, thus allowing Iowa to run the table.

I really don't mind Iowa being ahead of any team but Clemson, I can see the rational...it's just when presented with a "who would you like to see ISU try to match up with" that I can't imagine wanting an Oklahoma or Baylor rematch to get an easier win. It becomes a wink wink thing.

Just ensuring the Big 10 gets a slot. Iowa wins they were going to make the top four anyway, or more likely, a one or two loss Big Ten East team gets the benefit of beating number 3 in order to get in.

What's sad is, ISU was the second best team on their schedule so far.

Michigan State beats #3 Iowa and now they can jump OU or even ND for the same "no title game" excuse.

If OU wins out it's going to take some major gymnastics to put a 1 loss Big Ten team over them, but everything the committee has ever done suggests that's what they'll try.

So Iowa has faced 1 team in the AP top 25, and ISU has faced 6. Yet, there are still some delusional Hok fans that think their schedule has been tougher.

I think you might be a little jaded by what happened last year to Baylor/TCU. OU is not Baylor/TCU, it's a whole different ball game with them.

Not even the dumbest hawk fan would believe that.
