A storm is coming. Watch the Bison stand into the wind and be covered by the snow.

That near-half-court oop from Morris to Nader will probably be one of the top 4 or 5 plays you will see all season in college basketball.

If khaal is looking, it'd be great if he could find out when the last time ISU was held to 54 points at home was.

If ISU only scores 54 points, I'll get so mad, that I'll threaten a state senator! Then, when the authorities come talk to me about it, I'll totally wuss out, and pee down my leg.

I know one thing for sure: that will NOT be the final score.

For the record, we haven't scored < 55 points in a home game since Feb 21, 2009.

We haven't scored < 55 points in a home non-conference game since 2002.

Last time held to 54 or under at home looks like Feb. 5 2008 vs Texas A&M scored 51.

Ha, I was looking and missed these posts.

Feb 21, 2009 we lost at home to KSU 50-46.

But I'm okay if that game has been permanently stricken from the record, it was really really ugly. The two teams combined to go 5-32 (16%) from 3-pt range, highlighted by a 1-7 by Lucca Staiger. We actually had a 5 point halftime lead (24-19), but KSU scorched the nets with 41% shooting in the second half to pull out the game. Announced attendance: 11922.

Isn't NDSU a bit of a physical team?

Might be a good test for ISU. I like the way ISU's been clamping up the D when it needs it.

ISU 34-14, because they want to do payback accurately.

My other favorite lakesbison story is from another message board, where he claimed to be this instrumental player on the NDSU baseball team when he was in school, and bragged about it so much that the people on the message board got tired of it, looked it up and found out that he wasn't even on the roster. He insisted they were lying, but then they produced the team photo, which he wasn't in, and he claimed to have been sick on the day the photo was taken... or, was occupied with saving 57 children from a burning orphanage, or maybe it was that he was too busy banging his girlfriend from out of town, that none of them would know, and was totally a model. I can't remember exactly which excuse he used, but it was comedy gold. I'll give him credit for having no shame. I need to find the link for that thread. It was awesome.

Wasn't there a point where he argued he hurt his leg or something and redshirted, then quit after the redshirt season. Then they said he wasn't on the roster, he said it was because he redshirted, then they came up with about a dozen examples of people still being on the roster (just not active) in their redshirt season?

I seem to remember him just getting caught in lie, after lie, after lie.
