Probably a better team than Iowa State will have next year. Idiot.

I would seriously hit you with a baseball bat to put you out of your own misery. You are the biggest ******* idiot who's ever posted on this message board.

That he was going to transfer?

The same exact thing happened when the Hoiberg news started to get out. Legit media people started tweeting/posting things like 'maybe Hoiberg has decided it is best of the team if he leaves this year...' and everyone thought it was crap and then it happened.

what's the matter with you. Is it that difficult not to imagine the worst case scenarios and then not panic based on that craziness.

Next year's team isn't likely to be a tournament team.

But I've got this. We don't need Naz this year. And he'll be back next year.

How are we not a tournament team next year with Morris, Long, Thomas, Burton, Malou, Cooke? I think you need a better perspective on life. I think the only downer thing you can possibly say is that he could have contributed to more wins this year, but he hasn't been himself during games this year...his production has been down.

Some people around here need to take a better outlook on life. We have a great team this year and we have a chance to be just as special next year.

Based on what? I agree with others here, you suck. Go home and kick your dog or something.

Based on the fact, that all 5 of our starters will be gone if Naz doesn't come back. That's a lot for any team to overcome. See Wisconsin and Ohio State---programs that have more history than we do, but suck **** this year.

Am I the only one thinking, dang Naz looked great so far this year minus the Iowa game, better than ever in fact, especially when driving/slashing/dunking which are things you would think bad hips would make worse. He must be a tough SOB if he was playing through a ton of pain and just finally decided he had enough. Wish him the best and hope he and Monte play together next year so we don't have as big of drop off. There wasn't a particular play when anyone noticed he hurt one of his hips against Iowa was there?

Agreed. I've been more worried about MM's health. He takes a beating every game.

If you're thinking he could go somewhere else for grad school and play basketball without the med. redshirt -- you are incorrect. He would have to graduate AND get the medical hardship waiver AND get the grad school transfer waiver in order to play somewhere else next year.

Not impossible.

Barely.

Ah, thanks Ted. I didn't understand that.

Mods, please ban jsb. Or just make me a mod, that would probably be easier.

Yeah, I actually thought he looked a lot bigger and a lot stronger when going to the basket.

You love being so negative. Next year's team definitely will be a tourney team. I doubt top five like now, but definitely a tourney team.

Let me guess. Now you're thinking that if all 5 starters are leaving, no reason for Prohm to stay. He's leaving too.

Let's ask a better question --

When ISU plays for the national championship, will Naz suit up and play and spurn the medical hardship waiver? Even if only for mop up duty?

Sign me up for that.
