Lol at people thinking UNI was good. They just played the game of their lives against us. 8-5 going into MVC play. They will have 4-5 losses in conference.

UNI's two big wins against ISU and UNC came while both of those teams were down a starter. UNI is not great and are not a tourney team by any means.
Definitely a very streaky team, but they have a really good chance of having a great run in conference. Their tough non-con should have them ready if they can find a way to be consistent night in and night out.

Yet another UAB... At least that seemed to wake the team up... What a terrible loss to a bad team. They did shoot insane numbers from the 3.
It would've been nice to have bragging rights over the entire state of Iowa, and it does certainly look like a bad loss at the moment, but as long as we don't lose 2 or 3 more like this one it really won't matter much come March.
It's not going to be a bad loss. They are a top 50 RPI team, and will most likely end as a top 100 RPI team.
I hope you're right. They obviously have all the potential to beat anyone they play, but they've proven they can lose to anybody too. Hopefully they find their groove in conference play.
I think the loss sucks, but since they played a pretty good non-conference it will help a lot in their RPI.
This is all it takes to win a game you have absolutely no business winning and ISU certainly did this in Hilton a lot over the years. How many times did ISU beat a highly rated Big 8-12 team in Hilton by shooing well and then get stoned by 20+ on the return visit? It was just one of those nights when almost everything they threw up there went in. Yes, the defense could have been better, but they also made almost every desperation/clock expiring shot they took.
This. The UNI loss was all on Washpun being able to dominate on both sides of the ball because Monte wasn't 100%. Actually he was pretty dominant against UNC too because they didn't have Paige. He's a good point guard that can take advantage when given the opportunity.
With UNI beating unc and ISU how is it they have the losses they do? Is Jacobson the great coach everyone makes him out to be?

2. Uni literally couldn't miss vs us and had the best shooting night they'll have all year
They are your typical DIA school who is mediocre but gets amped (to say the least) to play the big dogs. That's why I don't care for the ranking system, it just gives teams like UNI more motivation to beat you. UNI is not a good team but played out of their heads against us.
