We really could have been in drivers seat IMO had we beaten OU. What really sucks is we have arguably our best team in a decade and OU and KU have 4 seniors as well. All 3 teams lose a ton. @ku @WV are really only 2 games I can see us losing. Honestly. Every other game we can win. We can win them all actually.
Ku is kinda weak inside offensively but can be terrific outside with Seldon, Ellis and Green hitting threes.

I have the same feeling. The chance of yet another Kansas title got a huge boost last night and it makes me sick.

Looks like a clean block to me...weird that this no call basically won the game for KU, if this is an 'and 1' like it should have been, OU wins in regulation
We have a shot to beat them at home. But no way we dethrone them this year. I was optimistic before the season but this team is so lacking in defense. I still think we are close and have a great season, but just dont have enough defensive effort to get over the hump this season.
Some of you guys are so pessimistic. Asking if we can beat them in Hilton is stupid. Obviously we can and I would bet that we do. We can also beat them at Phog Allen. I don't think we will, but we have just as good of a shot as Oklahoma did. I would be surprised to see the winner of the Big 12 with fewer than 4 losses. It will be tough, but I think that either us or Oklahoma do it.
I think you are right. We can play with anybody. Our consistency will only get better once rotation gets better with the addition of Burton but obviously going in the right direction. I think we are a better ball team than Oklahoma.
After watching the triple overtime game last night......I can assure you all we will not win in Lawrence. The Perry Ellis butt-bump post move will make any of our guys look like Joe Dirt getting hit by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson into another decade. I don't think we have an answer for that. At Hilton, fat Georges might give us a fighting chance to keep it close. ku might lose one game....us or OU away.....but that is it. I was shocked at the calls that OU got late.....the referees will be put on notice. I will bump this thread when they are Big12 winners again.
