You realize you're known as Boo U right? KU fans are the worst when it comes to whining about calls. You're still bringing up a guy getting bumped in the head going for a layup when the same guy admitted he cheated in OT
It was TWO DAYS AGO. ISU fans still talk about a dead ball three pointer from SIXTEEN SEASONS AGO.

When Mason "stole" that in-bounds from Hield he was as much as out of bounds as Hield was.

Refs choke in that atmosphere.

People generally talk about the "worst" thing ever to happen on any given topic forever. Such as: worst car ever made, worst crime, worst president, worst company to work for, etc.

That situation would qualify under "Worst Officiating Ever In Any Sport".

I don't see Kansas losing more than 3. The middle of the Big 12 is not nearly as good as some of you think. Kansas will win the conference once again.

Guess we'll never know for sure but KU wouldn't have thrown the hissy fit that ISU threw. There is also the aspect of public perception. Nobody gets worked up when the dominant team gets bad breaks. The media will jump in when there is the perception (whether it's reality or not) that the little guy got screwed.

You have the biggest crybaby of a coach and he wouldn't have thrown a hissy fit? I'm sure you're right...

Do people not remember how things went last year? Can we let things play out before crowning someone champs?

Only because it happened to you. St. Louis Cardinals fans would vote for Don Denkinger's "safe" call on Jorge Orta as the worst. Mizzou fans would vote for Colorado's fifth down play as the worst. USA Olympic basketball fans would vote for the Soviets getting extra time put back on the clock TWICE in the gold medal game of the '72 Olympics as the worst. Orioles fans would vote for Jeter's Jeffrey Maier assisted home run as the worst. Seeing a pattern?

What does last year have to do with this year?
Probably that it was fairly silly to predict that Kansas would have lost @Okie State or @Kansas State last year but they did, allowing teams that thought KU was going to run away with the conference when they opened Big 12 play 8-1 to still be in contention down to the wire. You just never know how it's going to play out.

I never thought KU was gonna run away with it last year. Last years KU team was the worst one in the Bill Self era. Everyone knew that pretty much going in. This years KU team is much improved. The middle of the Big 12 this year is not that good imo.

It's a long season and were just starting. I was listening to Huggy Bear on the ESPN podcast yesterday and he mentioned how WV should have beat KU at KU last year and there would have been a 4 way tie for 1st last year. Add in two mind boggling losses by ISU last year in TT and Baylor @ Hilton and we'd be talking about if ISU could repeat.

KU deserves to be the favorite due to thier roster and history but they are by no means unbeatable.

The middle of the Big 12 last year was Baylor, West Virginia, Okie State, Texas and Kansas State. Baylor seems to be as good or better than last year. West Virginia is better than last year. Okie State is worse than last year and Texas is the same or marginally better. And the bottom from last year had Texas Tech, who is MUCH better this year than last year and TCU who is just as bad this year as last year.

Over the last couple of years (13/14 & 14/15) the big 3 have the following records in conference games.
KU = 30-11 (Mason, Seldon, Ellis)
ISU = 29-13 (Niang, Morris, Naz :()
OU = 25-14 (Hield, Woodard, Cousins, Poopy Pants)

For the conference race and subsequent tournament to be anything besides a really close race between the 3 teams would be a shocker to me. Can't wait to see what happens.

And if six different things happened in the last Powerball drawing I would be typing this from Bora Bora.

I assume you are adding in the meaningless Big 12 tourney, correct?
