What's the story with Jameel's knee? Is it going to be an ongoing issue that will require surgery at some point or is it something that could improve with rest if he missed a couple games?

Follow up question - If McKay does miss an extended amount of time due to a bum knee, WTF are we going to do?

1. Is the "control tempo" team that we have seen the past 2 games, the "new" Cyclones?
2. Opinions on coach integrating more of the bench?
3. Is our win last night bigger than Iowa's win at home over then #1 MSU?
4. Will Monte's roll as scorer on offense continue?

I think teams have figured out that McKay isn't that strong with the ball in his hands. Attack him, and you will likely get a turnover, tie up, or foul called. Either way, it's a better proposition than a two handed dunk.

That's your answer. The good news is that it is a problem that can be fixed with coaching. Any time he catches it in traffic or under the basket the first thing he does is bring the ball down to his midsection where smaller guys can tie him up or slap it away. Gotta keep that ball up.

Prohm has to use them more though as we don't have much bench production so he has to give the guys a break.

If the Cyclones are able to win the next three conference games (@TCU, vs. Kansas and vs. West Virginia) and get to 6-3 does that get us back into the Big 12 race? IMO if we can get to 10-4 heading into the last 4 games (@West Virginia, vs. Kansas State, vs. Oklahoma State and @ Kansas) then we have a puncher's chance which is the best we can hope for at this point.

Any thoughts on Burton's struggles the past few games? To me, he tries to do too much on offense, and he's not quick enough to keep up with guards on defense. Do you think we'll see fewer minutes for him and more for Ashton as a result of their play on defense?

IMO if we can get to 10-4 heading into the last 4 games (@West Virginia, vs. Kansas State, vs. Oklahoma State and @ Kansas) then we have a puncher's chance which is the best we can hope for at this point.

We have to pick out the KU losses, which are few and far between, especially at Allen. That's why you have to root against them every game. They just don't drop that many games.

Can you give some insight on the two "walk-ons" that ISU just picked up? Troy Vincent (DB) and Kyle Kempt (QB)

These guys were both pretty highly rated out of HS, with some P5 offers. Seems very odd they are now walk-ons (although the assumption is they will earn scholarships if/when there's attrition).

This. The volume level has replaced Jock Jams as my biggest complaint. Might this just be an issue for the balcony? Or is it a problem in the lower level also?
