I'm sure he will. We're going to need to him to be able to contribute a few valuable minutes the rest of the way.
Especially with McKay potentially being out a couple games, we will play small and need some bodies.... Might be time for baptism by fire on Carter as well, Burton, Nader and Niang can handle some, but having Cooke and Carter in the mix I think will get important as this season wears on and if Mckay does not come back right away....

Ashton may have opened the door last night for Cooke. I thought Ashton shot too quickly and too poorly. We want him to take open shots, but I don't think we want him taking quick ones or driving and getting himself in trouble having to take forced shots.

Ashton has been great but I think it's time for Cooke to play again. He's had a great attitude on the bench and Ashton has struggled as of late IMO

Probably. It's a long season. The bigger issue is what he does once he does get those minutes. I think he and Burton are both struggling a little to find their respective roles on the team. It takes time. That could be a silver lining if McKay ends up missing any time due to his knee problem. It might give those two a chance to find their place and gain some confidence.

Frankly I prefer McKat if possible. He is a energizer bunny.

I appreciate the solid minutes Ashton has given, but I don't see what he brings over Cooke.

I'm sure the staff has their reasons, but to my eyes Cooke seems like the better defender. And his shot is just so pretty; he's been shooting poorly recently but I think it's just a slump.

I think Ashton has a little more length and strength on defense. Cooke is small, but hustles. Who knows what they're seeing in practice tho.

Morris is averaging 39.6 minutes per game in conference play. Doesn't leave much for the back-up point guard.

Not against top 10/ to 5 big 12 teams. Would like Prohm to lower his minutes vs the TCU/TT/KSU teams when ISU reaches that point of the season (assuming the clones can build a comfortable lead. At those games Hallice will get the opportunity to win the first guard off the bench role. Jordan has played well but doesn't have the ceiling that Hallice does as a shooter/ball handler if both are playing well. HC time will come once he gets his confidence.

It's good to see Cooke stick around after games and shoot at Hilton. He's putting in the extra time to get shots up and it won't be too long before he sees the court again

Hallice is a 1 or 2. Ashton is a 2 or 3. We don't pull Monte much, so Ashton has a higher chance just due to his positioning.

Morris is averaging 39.6 minutes per game in conference play. Doesn't leave much for the back-up point guard.

This. I think it's good to see Ashton getting the minutes he has. It's just very hard to take Morris and Thomas off the floor.

I think next game or in the next 2 games he'll reclaim his spot in the rotation. Ashton has played hard and given good effort, but hasn't produced much

Im going to have to disagree.. I feel Ashton is a better defender and that is more important at this point. Cooke to date hasnt shown the ability to defend or score. Not saying he can't, he just hasnt.

Doesn't A & M play a lot with four guards on the floor?

Could be more time for Burton, Ashton, and Cooke.

If there is anything Cooke has shown, is the ability to defend. He has good defense. His shot has been off, but it was coming around again just like Morris's.

I sure would. Then I'd finish it off with an ice cold Budweiser.

When we weren't playing all that well, Hallice had some good minutes vs Texas. He's easy to forget on the floor because he moves similar to Morris.

Regardless of what happens with Hallice the rest of the season, his suspension marked the turn-around of the season for the team.

I really like the way he is engaged and supportive on the sideline, as well as showing discipline in his own practice. It seems that he may have made the Naz Long freshman turn toward doing the work to make himself a place on the floor. Look out now. Go Hallice.
