Most ISU and Cornhusker fans think he will be a Hawkeye too. Anything is possible, especially with this staff, but it will be shocking if it's anybody but Iowa.

He is more than most likely going to Iowa. Everything on his twitter points to him being a hawk. Though he is following Sean Foster so there is that.

I know we are pretty much set with the OL recruits, but this would be a real good one to get. Would be even better since most Iowa fans think he is going to be a Hawkeye.

He will be choosing between ISU, Iowa and Nebraska.

kudo's to our new staff for ISU even being in his final three. This article suggests Iowa lean

Hard to admit since I loathe Iowa (mostly their fanbase and media), but their track record with offensive linemen is hard to compete with when recruiting a star o-line prospect from Big Ten country

I have to begrudgingly agree. AIB east has been developing solid lineman for years.

Sounds like a for sure Iowa pick. Staff knows he isn't coming here in fact at this point they feel like there board is full with who they know about or feel very good about and have let a number of kids that were going to pick between ISU and others they no longer have room. A number of very good kids in fact. Considering he didn't visit Nebraska he is most certainly a hawk. No suprise here. He isn't on our board anymore.

Lot of warm Fuzzy in that article. I think if he was anything other than a lineman I'd really like our chances. Next year I think we start turning the tables on kids like this with Iowa. I always like our chances against Iowa on the field when they think we have no chance.

I get you are an Iowa State fan, but I don't understand why anyone would expect for that to be the case. I'm not sure that I can think of a single advantage Iowa State has over Iowa other than an opportunity for early playing time.

Well it's Iowa State and not Iowa so that's a huge advantage

Who are the "very good kids" the staff told to move along? Not criticizing, just curious.

Not exactly sure.

This is the same thing we asked hawk fans when we were doing better and Iowa was in a lull. We were told by the hawk fans that brians youthfulness and use of social media would woo the recruits. Now when we repeat your line, you say it ain't so?

I get you are an Iowa fan, so I understand why you don't understand. The obvious advantage:we don't smell like Kirk Ferentz stale farts. How about not being a douchenozzle?

Nobody thought we had much of a chance with Allen either. That includes me (I had my nuts ready for a severe kick). Tomorrow could be a special day in cyclone football. If this kid wanted to be a Hawk or husker, as he's hinted at leaning, why not commit already?

Actually many knew he was likely after his visit. Not so with Alaric. He is no longer being pursued because he is going elsewhere.
