Humor me a little bit. What would you think an ISU fan would give a flying **** on what you think? If a clone fan comes on the pitiful Hok board and spouts his opinion do you think to yourself, "oh wow, this guy is right" And I really don't give two ***** on whether you think so or not. You are NOT an Iowa State fan. This is for fans to get to together and discuss OUR team. We have enough idiots on this board without trolls jumping in trying to tell us where we are wrong. Boy, I fell better now.I get you are an Iowa State fan, but I don't understand why anyone would expect for that to be the case. I'm not sure that I can think of a single advantage Iowa State has over Iowa other than an opportunity for early playing time.
Jackson's best friend is an Iowa commit but it seems like he likes ISU more. So that makes for a tough choice.
Well except Michigan still had room. So not the same thing.Staff has moved on, Jackson is going to be a Hawk. If Jackson would change his mind the staff would absolutely have a spot for him. Just like those clueless Michigan fans saying Allen no longer had a spot, well yeah, not *****, cause he told them he was going to ISU. If he told them he was coming to Michigan instead, they would have accepted his commitment. That is how this stuff works.
I love Warren but saying he's better than Perine is, well, absurd.Best O line coach in the country. Best RB in the Big 12. Has to be enticing for this kid.
What makes you think he's not on the level of Farniok? I would love to have him. I think he will be better than Farniok when it's all said and done. It's definitely up for debate.Jackson is going to go to Iowa. He's not the same caliber as a Matt Farniok or a Chase Allen but he's still a good get for Ferentz

They're both 3 star players that were both recruited by NU, Iowa, MSU and ISU. Virtually the same schools. Jackson has only been playing football for 2 years. His upside is huge. And I don't recall Farniok being recruited by Harbaugh either. They're comparable players, imo. Saying one is difinitively better than the other is nothing but speculation. It's not like Farniok is a 5 star or something.Farniok was an All American and had a way better offer list. Harbaugh didn't even offer Jackson and he's from Michigan
Not sure why Farniok was downgraded to a 3 star. That was weird. But he his the size strength and mechanics to be an immediate starter at Nebraska. Jackson seems like a work in progress, but does have a huge upside. All he needs is a little coaching and he will be really good. They're both 3 star players that were both recruited by NU, Iowa, MSU and ISU. Virtually the same schools. I think we just look at it differently fundamentally. I look at a recruit from the upside he has and I don't think Farniok would be as coveted if he has started playing football his junior year. Lack of exposure is a major factor with Jackson. Junior film is HUGE for coaches in recruiting and since it was Jacksons first year playing football ever I'm sure he didn't look that great. Especially when considering his competition is vastly better than Farnioks.Farniok is the highest rated 3 star on Rivals and the #35 OT in the class. Jackson is the lowest rates 3 star and NR. Farniok is a 4 star on 247, had a much more impressive offer list that included Michigan and was an All American. So yeah I think it's safe to say Farniok is better. Who knows how they will turn out but Farniok is obviously the better recruit.
