Anyone traveled on I-35 between DM and Minneapolis today? I'm heading to Minneapolis in a bit and was wondering what the travel conditions were like.

I have heard that north of Story City is pretty crappy. Could be changing though. But 511ia.org doesn't have it as 'travel not advised.'

Check the Iowa and Minnesota 511 web sites. They also each have mobile apps. looks like 100% snow covered for the 100 miles north of Hwy 20. Several accdents between the Mn border and Twin Cities in the ****** road zone through Albert Lea area.
Between Iowa State Line (2 miles south of the Twin Lakes area) and Exit 26: MN 30 (Ellendale). The roadway is completely covered with snow. Look out for drifting snow on the roadway. Expect blowing snow.

Judging by our streaming traffic cams in S Minnesota, there's spotty areas with snow blowing over the roads but they look to be a much better shape than secondary roads, which are still caked in snow/ice, as seen from my venture up out of the valley an hour ago. Traffic moving at a good clip on the interstate too. If you're driving, just back it off a few mph and you'll get there fine.
