I don't get why people think we need a current song that will be out of popularity in a few years. In my opinion it needs to be a song everyone in the crowd knows. (Including the seasoned folks.)

The song would be better if it fit a theme that matched well with our unique mascot.

A good entrance song has an intro that builds in intensity to the point when the team runs on the field.

I think one of the only songs that meet all these criteria is Thunderstruck. Lead into it with some ambient thunder noise straight from the weather alert. The students will lose it when they hear that electric guitar lead in.
