What did Cooke provide before he was benched? He was shooting in the 20%'s from 3 to start the year.

So what has Ashton done that proves he should be playing over Cooke? I dont care which one plays, but when one does absolutley nothing but take up space on the floor it might be time to give Cooke another shot. Why was he playing minutes early? He all of a sudden got worse?

Hmm, lets see, he shows up late to practice and his minutes go down to 1 per game. Coincidence?

This team has bigger issues than who plays between Cooke and Ashton, not sure why this is even a thread tonight after another pathetic loss to a team that just got smoked by Tech, withouth Gathers I might add.

Whats your problem bro? You have a better explanation. I was trying to agree with you but since this entire board seems to be in meltdown mode tonight, I shouldnt expect anything else.
****, thought you were serious in the previous post. I may need to call it a night.

Didn't you hear, he was 5 minutes late to practice. If you do that with coach Prohm you will be regulated to the bench for the season behind a walk-on who provides nothing.
Yea, I mean, I'm sure that was it. You probably know the whole story.

Cooke isn't playing cause he isn't any good.

This team is gonna be brutal next year..

This is absolutely preposterous to say. He was Honorable Mention All Freshman in the Pac-12 while shooting 45% from 3. He is by no means not any good.

As far as next year goes, yeah we won't be as elite. But to say we wont be good is also dumb. We have two juco guys coming in who can play. Also get a 4 star recruit who I'm sure can provide some minutes. As well as having Burton, Thomas, Naz, Babb, and Cooke (possibly Monte). Lets not jump to conclusions about this team next year just yet and enjoy what we have going this year.

Man, this board is in full meltdown mode tonight. It was meant to be a sarcastic post about Cooke showing up 5 minutes late. Obviously there is more to it than that, I don't know anymore than anbody else.

I hate to break it to you , but we're not elite. We're barely .500 in the Big 12 and 3 games behind Kansas. Its looking like a 6th place finish at this point.

He's also had hip surgery. Looks like it has affected his game a great deal.

Re: Hallice Cooke

I think the dog house issues were always exaggerated. There might have been some issues, but ultimately it's just that Prohm doesn't have confidence in him

I am not at practice, but I never understood why Jordan Ashton is seeing more minutes than Hallice Cooke.
