Huge game. Doesn't help that they are coming off a couple losses, but our guys must have REVENGE in mind after blowing the 1st game at Hilton. (ISU should have stomped them (were up 15 at one point?), but again, the rebounding/hustle issue cost us the game.)
It's simple for tonight, find a way to win. Hold the lead. ISU has no problem scoring on them, but hustle/grit has to happen to get boards/stops tonight. Team effort. GO CYCLONES!

Keep TOs down and get defensive rebounds and they win. That's how you beat them bc they aren't a good half court offensive team.

I was thinking it would be Jameel if he plays just because he is probably pretty easily rattled.

Huggy and the players admitted they lost to OU because they were out muscled for loose balls and rebounds.
There's your map to success, if our boys have enuff lead in their pants to pull it off.

Take our time, find good shots. Dont pick up dribbles in corners and rebound. Do those, we will be fine.

This. Since we can't defend and rebound, this is the only way to win the game at this moment.
Hopefully return of McKay can make difference in that area.

Question about the last game (since I only saw the last 50 seconds as it was my anniversary)...I think Georges had 8 turnovers- did they occur in breaking the press, or in other spots?

This. I think they all kind of force the ball down to Jameel on offense to try and get him going and keep him happy. Also think the TO almost always goes to the passer and not the catcher.
I think Georges may have had a charge that game. It also may have been when they decided to call him for traveling constantly.

Several traveling calls on Georges in that one. It was right when refs decided to emphasis traveling for about a week. Glad that seems to be over.
