Iowa has already beaten a better team than ISU has in the tournament.

Completely incorrect. Little Rock or Iona would kill Temple. Temple was the worst at large team in the history of the NCAA tourney.

This is like watching a car accident between two people I hate. I can't look away because I don't want to.

team is playing in a NCAA tourney game losing by 30 points, goes to rivals board to troll rivals whose team is in the Sweet 16.

Pathetic.

A 13 seed and a 12 seed. If there's ever been an easier road to the Sweet 16 I can't recall.

And tell us wise one - did Iowa State have any control over who they played in the second round? If your BIG 10 buddy Purdue knew how to close out games, ISU wouldn't have played a 12 seed.

Maybe if Iowa hadn't xxxx the bed at the end of the regular season they wouldn't be a 7 seed getting schooled in the second round.

Here they come! Welcome. Where will you be watching Iowa State's Sweet 16 game?

You would think they would have their troll game at a higher level by now.

First of all, they have had years of practice making excuses for their bball program

2nd, they knew today was the end of the road. May not have know it was going to be a train wreck like this but they have had days to prep their troll game and we get "We beat better teams than you did?"

This is where I think Iowa fans are completely off base. Baer has his moments, but he's not a Big Ten player. Accepting him as a main cog for the next three years is foolish. Guys like that have to be recruited over. It's McDermott-esque. The fact that Iowa fans are OK with him getting a scholarship baffles me.

I never said he'd be a star player at all. I want him to do exactly what he has done this year. Be a role player off the bench. I dont see a high talent ceiling for him, so as long as he can come in, spell a player, and provide a spark, id be thrilled.

In before Iowa fans don't realize ISU lost close to a 2 seed on the road because of bad calls.

In before Iowa fans don't realize ISU lost to #1 eventual champ Kentucky and played them as tough as anybody.

In before Iowa fans don't realize ISU lost a close game without injured Niang to eventual champ UCONN.

Something tells me ISU beating two low seeds to reach Sweet 16 will be the only thing Hawkeye homers and the media hacks like Murph & Andy will remember this week.

No ****, playing those two teams was like playing Hoks 2x.

If you actually believe either team ISU beat is better than Iowa, youre borderline ********. If i remember right, it took an epic collapse and an amazing 2nd half by your Cyclones to come back and beat us by the large margin of.....1.

And yes, im very well aware this team plays completely different than they did in dec and jan, but to say Iona and ALR are better than Iowa is pretty dumb

Full meltdown mode among hok fans. My hok friend that was my source for the Fran v Uthoff stuff just text me:

"I didn't tell you this before, but people inside of the program told me that Fran regularly tells his players that he can't wait until his sons get here because they are already better basketball players than you are."

edit for 2nd text:

"Fran is also really big on telling players their "place". Woodbury, Gessel, and Jok are the "stars". Clemmons and Uthoff are the "role players".
